I like to write because...
--it makes me come alive
--it allows me to live out things I could not normally do
--it gives me a safe outlet to vent or wrestle through situations in my RL
--I like creating and trying new things
--I have a hard time shutting off my imagination, so I might as well let it vent
Some of the most embarrassing moments of my life include...
--when I accidentally spit on a friend of mine because he made me laugh so hard and I had just taken a gulp of water
Magical or spiritual moments I've experienced...
--living through what I lived through at age 3
--the re-dedication dream I had at about twelve-years-old
--my first missions trip/dream fulfilled felt rather magical!
People in history I wish I could invite over for dinner...
--Louisa May Alcott...I've always been fascinated with her writing and biographies (she sounds like we would have been similar), and I would love to have met her and compared notes about our lives
--Jesus (and a few other people from the Bible)
Stories I loved most when I was a child/teenager...
--most C.S.Lewis books (Space Trilogy, Narnia, etc)
--Mandie series by Lois Gladys Leppard
--Elsie Dinsmore series by Martha Finley
--Stephen R Lawhead's Celtic Crusades series, Song of Albion series, & Empyrion series
--Nancy Drew by Carolyne Keene
--Hardy Boys by Franklin W. Dixon
--The Boxcar Children by Gertrude Chandler Warner
--Trixie Belden series by Kathryn Kenny
--oh gosh...and many, many more
Things about myself I want to improve...
--health/physically wellness...if only I could!
--conversations/ability to converse...I always feel at a lose; like everyone else took a proverbial "communication class 101" when they were young, and I missed it completely.
Friends and family members who have influenced me most...
--Debby (my aunt and 'adopted' mom)
--Debby (a 'mom' on campus where I attended college)
--Sooki (roommate & BFF starting in college)
--Becky & Alissa (sisters)
The scariest experiences I've ever had...
--hearing a dog's horrible howl/bark JUST outside the glass panel wall/doors in a guest room while visiting in TX, but not having any dog outside (although it was pitch black at night, and hard to see). Later I was informed the house can sometimes be haunted O.O
